Empowering Young Stars: Primary School Programs at Steps 2 Stardom

At Steps 2 Stardom, we believe the early years of schooling are the perfect time to spark creativity, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love for performing arts. That’s why we’ve crafted a range of joyful, inclusive, and skill-building dance and drama classes just for primary school students—from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Whether your child is just starting school or growing into a seasoned performer, our Mini, Bronze, and Silver Star programs offer something special for everyone.

✨ Mini Stars (Kindergarten)

Kindergarten is a big step—and our Mini Stars program is the perfect companion to your child’s first year at school. These classes are designed to support emotional growth, coordination, and expression through:

  • Mini Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop

  • Mini AcroDance & Aerial Arts

  • Mini Musical Theatre & Set The Scene

Classes are engaging, age-appropriate, and full of fun, helping Minis adjust to routine while exploring movement and music in a safe, supportive environment. Mini Stars can attend any 3 classes for $40 per week, with extra classes just $10 each.

🌟 Bronze Stars (Years 1–3)

Bronze Stars is ideal for students in Years 1 to 3, whether they’re brand new to dance or continuing from preschool programs. This level offers a balanced mix of foundational dance and performing arts, including:

  • Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Modern

  • AcroDance & Aerial Arts

  • Musical Theatre & Set The Scene

  • Stretch/KTL and Ballroom Kids

These classes focus on developing technique while nurturing each student’s confidence, creativity, and social connection. Bronze Stars can enjoy 8 classes per week for $80, with additional ones at $10 each.

💫 Silver Stars (Years 4–6)

For our more experienced or older primary students in Years 4 to 6, the Silver Stars program takes everything to the next level. With a wide array of styles and growing performance opportunities, Silver students enjoy:

  • Advanced Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Modern

  • Hip Hop, AcroDance, Aerial Arts, and Ballroom

  • Musical Theatre, Set The Scene, and Stretch/KTL

Our Silver Stars build stronger technique, stage presence, and performance skills, all while feeling supported in a positive and encouraging community.
