Every great studio begins with a dream—and Steps 2 Stardom is no exception.

In 1994, sisters Annette and Cathryn Hill transformed a simple dream into something truly extraordinary. From a hired hall in Ambarvale to a bustling, purpose-built performing arts studio in Smeaton Grange, their goal was unwavering: to create a space where every child could thrive in the world of dance and performing arts, regardless of experience or ability.

Over three decades later, that dream is now a legacy. Steps 2 Stardom has become a trusted name in the Macarthur region and beyond, known for its inclusivity, quality tuition, and commitment to each student’s personal growth. From our smallest Ready Set Move toddlers to our elite-level seniors, we’ve built a dance family that lifts each child up—supporting their journey on and off the stage.

We’re especially proud to see second-generation students now part of the studio, dancing in the same spaces their parents once did. It's a beautiful reminder of the memories we've made and the lives we’ve touched. And while many of our students have gone on to successful careers in the performing arts, it’s watching them grow into confident, kind, and resilient adults that brings the deepest joy.

Steps 2 Stardom is more than just a studio. It's a space where dreams take shape, confidence is built, and life-long friendships are formed. We're proud of our past—and even more excited about the future.

With over 35 years of experience in dance education, Annette is passionate about using the performing arts to empower children and build confidence, creativity, and connection. She is a proud advocate for early childhood movement and believes that every child deserves a joyful, nurturing space to shine.
